Sending believers into other communities, cultures and countries to share the gospel, make disciples and plant churches is very important at Cross Connection. In Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus commanded His followers, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” This verse is often referred to as Jesus’ great commission to His followers and it is an imperative that we take very seriously.

 

An essential part of Cross Connection’s vision is to send the equipped. As believers are equipped in our church it is our desire to send them into our community, city, other cities and other countries to share the gospel, make disciples and plant churches. We value sending capacity over seating capacity. We aim to grow the kingdom of God as a whole and not just our individual church.
